Who We Are
In 1905, located in a small building in Downtown Omaha, Edward Swoboda opened the doors to a commercial printing company to service the needs of ad agencies and area businesses.
That tradition continues today with some of the best-known businesses in Nebraska relying on Colonial Press to provide them with their printed materials.
A lot has changed over the last 110 years, but the same pride and customer service that has allowed us to keep serving our customers all those years is still present today.

What We Do
Printing is truly the intersection of craft and technology. Today's technology allows you to create pieces that 10 years ago would have been out of budget or seemingly impossible. But you still need the craftsmanship of the people utilizing that new technology to fully harness it's effectiveness.
Today's printing landscape is a mix of digital, offset and web options, complimented with all kinds of bindery and finishing choices.
Our job is to help you navigate through this maze of options to produce your print project in the most cost-effective and timely manner. There are a number of variables that are considered when producing a print project, but in the end, our focus is to provide you with the best possible, printed piece, which effectively articulates your message while staying within budget.
